An impression of a shack on the Hawkesbury River (on the central coast of NSW, Australia) that my family frequented throughout my childhood. There was a narrow wharf that extended from the back yard, through a towering wall of mangroves, and out to the river. The mangroves created a corridor through which the tranquility of the river was visible. 

The view of the Hawkesbury River from the end of the wharf is pictured, along with a "tinny" (aluminium boat) at rest.
